Ireland Wedding Celebrants

The register in numbers

Celebrant insights

See which nominating organisations have the most active celebrants, when those celebrants first joined the register, and what changed in each monthly government file.

Start with this month's file. The default view is celebrants a couple can choose and contact, including bodies such as Entheos and the Spiritualist Union, not priests assigned by a church. Switch category if you want organised religion or the full public list. Organisations shows month-over-month growth by nominating body. When they joined is a picture of today's active celebrant list, not a historical archive.

Two different clocksThe organisation timeline is a picture of today's active list. A cumulative figure for 2019 means people still on the current file who had registered by 2019. It does not prove how many celebrants were active in 2019. The change log is different: we keep every government spreadsheet we have and compare each one with the file before it. Some steps are a month. Some are longer.
